On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, Auberge de la Croix-Blanche in Gingins celebrated its fifth anniversary with a special evening bringing together loyal guests, regular patrons, and lovers of fine cuisine.
The celebration began on the Auberge’s terrace, where guests enjoyed an aperitif in a warm and friendly atmosphere. They had the opportunity to discover Prunier Caviar, showcased during a live culinary demonstration featuring the preparation of a buffalina topped with Prunier Caviar.
To accompany the tastings, guests enjoyed a selection of Le Colture DOCG Prosecco. They also sampled cocktails prepared by our partners using Citrolle’s Organic Sicilian Limoncello, while discovering the authentic flavours of Italico Amaro, which added a refreshing and convivial touch to the beginning of the evening.

Guests then moved into the restaurant to enjoy one of the Auberge’s signature menus, the very one that helped earn its 14/20 Gault & Millau rating. The dinner opened with spinach canederli served on a creamy Parmigiano Reggiano sauce, followed by tagliolini with lemon sauce.
For the main course, guests savoured a beef tagliata served with rocket and shavings of Grana Padano PDO. To conclude this exceptional dining experience, Chef Enzo Buffarini presented a homemade tiramisu, prepared in keeping with authentic Italian tradition.

To end the evening on a sweet note, guests received an assortment of handcrafted sugared almonds created by Antonio Maria Arbues. This thoughtful gourmet gift allowed everyone to take home a delicious reminder of the Auberge’s fifth anniversary.
Before bringing this memorable celebration to a close, the entire Auberge de la Croix-Blanche team gathered for a commemorative group photograph. This symbolic snapshot perfectly captured an evening filled with emotion, shared moments, and outstanding gastronomy, while celebrating the collective work and passion that have shaped the Auberge over the past five years.
