Job Opening: Chef de Partie (m/f)

Located in a peaceful setting between Lake Geneva and the Jura mountains, just 10 minutes from Nyon and 20 minutes from Saint-Cergue, our inn offers a refined and welcoming environment.

We offer:

  • Authentic Italian gourmet cuisine

  • Restaurant / Bar / Terrace (maximum 50 covers per service)

  • Modern meeting room (set up in the former palace prison)

  • 6 guest rooms

All under the direction of Chef Enzo Buffarini, who brings over 30 years of experience in 5-star hotel dining.

Profile Sought

We are looking for a motivated, professional and passionate individual to join our kitchen brigade.
Experience in a fine dining restaurant is a major asset.

An excellent knowledge of traditional and gourmet Italian cuisine is essential.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation and mise en place before service

  • Preparing, finishing and plating dishes

  • Managing and monitoring stock for your station, and communicating needs to the Chef

  • Cleaning and maintaining your workstation and utensils after each service

  • Strict compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP)

  • Actively contributing to the creation of new dishes and recipes

Skills and Requirements

  • Proven experience in professional kitchens

  • Excellent command of Italian cuisine

  • Motivation, precision and strong attention to detail

  • Sense of responsibility, organization and autonomy

  • Professionalism, courtesy, discretion and flexibility

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure

  • Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Good command of Italian and French

  • Hospitality diploma or vocational training certificate

Working Conditions

  • Split shifts (lunch and dinner service)

  • Days off: Monday and Tuesday

  • 5 weeks of vacation per year

  • Salary to be determined according to profile and experience
